These are the questions you should ask.
You don’t want to attend a University or politechnic with only 5 buildings and no campus or hostel.
This is sometimes the advantage of older institutions.

2. Alumni Strength
True! You might not really know the effect of this till you are out there looking for a job.
The network of industry giants your University has been able to build over time would always prove helpful.
You or your grade would easily be hyped to downgraded based on the University you attended.
This is also one advantage of Top public Universities over the top private Universities
3. Safety and Level of Cultism
Hmm. I bet you don’t want me to go any further on this but I still would starting with this question:
Do you want to complete your university education in peace?
Do you consider your safety as paramount?
Then this should be one of the top things you should consider about the university you have in mind
This my dear readers is one of the advantage of Private Universities over public Universities.
4. Does the University offer your Course of Intetest

This should help you in Rating The University generally.
10. Proximity from Residence
This could also prove helpful. Try to consider how far the institution is from your residence.
Although this should not be mine the top criteria to guide your decision. Just put it into consideration.
